Please read all of our Terms and Conditions before you book a swimming lesson with us. Our Policies provide all necessary information regarding booking our services. If you need any clarification, please make an enquiry before booking.
In this contract
You, your or student refer to the person using our services.
The Venue refer to the place/ pool where the lesson is taking place
Liverduck swimming Ltd. or we refer to Liverduck swimming Ltd (company number 15393756) a company registered in England and Wales.
Bookings and Payments
Lessons, block bookings and pay as you go, are not confirmed until you have completed and returned this induction form. The Induction form will be emailed to you with the price list upon enquiry. The Induction form must be completed before any lessons commence. Lessons are done on a first come, first served basis. Payment must be made before the start of the lesson and must be taken within 6 months of payment being made.
Liverduck Swimming Ltd payments are in pounds sterling only, by either bank transfer or in cash.
Prices
Liverduck Swimming Ltd reserves the right to increase prices when deemed necessary due to inflation, costs etc.. You will be given 30 days’ notice in writing of any price increase. If you have a block booking, your price will be locked until the end of that block booking. However new student bookings will be charged at the new rates immediately.
Cancellation policy
48 hours’ notice is required to cancel a booking. Any booking cancelled between 48 and 24 hours will incur a 50% fee to be paid. Any bookings cancelled 24 hours or less will result in 100% fee to be paid. All monies owed will need to be settled before any other bookings are accepted. This includes for sickness, however, may be waived at the discretion of the company director in extenuating circumstances e.g. death of loved one.
Staff Absence
Live Duck Swimming Ltd make every effort to attend lessons but there may be occasions where a staff member is sick or on annual leave. If we cannot provide an instructor for your lesson, your lesson will be cancelled at no cost to you.
Before Attending Your Lesson
Please check your phone and or email for any correspondence from Liverduck Swimming Ltd to prevent any unnecessary travel. Should the booking have been cancelled due to unforetold circumstances such as poor pool water quality.
Late Arrivals
If you think you will be late for your lessons, please, when safe to do so contact us as soon as possible. This can be done by phone call, what’s app or text to 07596155588. Should you arrive late, this time will be deducted from your lesson time. If you are 10 minutes or more late Liverduck Swimming Ltd. reserves the right to cancel under such circumstances, our late cancellation policy will come into effect, and you will be charged the full fee for that lesson.
Medical Policy
All students presenting themselves for lessons must be medically fit to do so. If you are unsure of this, please consult your GP before booking a lesson. Liverduck swimming Ltd. and the venues do not take any responsibility for any harm caused by undisclosed medical issues.
It is your responsibility to come with and provide essential medication if needed i.e. asthma inhaler, GTN spray etc. Essential medication should be always kept on poolside and accessible for emergency use.
Equality policy
Equality and providing equal opportunities both for our students and staff is very important to Liverduck swimming Ltd. We aim to create a safe space for all, regardless of your gender, race, sexuality, or ability. We therefore adopt a zero-tolerance policy on discrimination. And reserve the right to terminate any current and future lessons for discriminative behavior and you will be charged.
If you feel you are being treated unequally by one of our staff, please contact us immediately.
Venues
All venues currently used by Liverduck swimming are managed / owned by third parties. Any person or persons attending the lesson including spectators or accompanying Adult must adhere to the policies / procedure of the venue. The use of the venues outside of your lesson time is subject to this and requires payment to the venue.
Personal Items
Any personal items left in the venue are left at your own risk. Liverduck swimming Ltd. and the Venue do not take responsibility for lost, stolen or broken items. You/ your child are therefore requested to ensure that no valuable items are brought into the venue.
Equipment
Liverduck swimming Ltd will provide all safety equipment for you to complete your lessons. Fees may be incurred for the cost of the equipment if equipment is damaged due to unreasonable use. We do not provide students with personal swimwear including hats and goggles.
Children Under 16 Years of Age
All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. The accompanying adult must not leave the venue at any time during the duration of the lesson and must be contactable. Children under the age of 16 will only be released back to their accompanying responsible adult.
Behavior
Abuse towards Liverduck swimming Ltd staff and/or the staff of the venue will NOT be tolerated. Liverduck swimming has a zero-tolerance policy on physical and verbal abuse. And reserve the right to terminate any current and future lessons for abusive behavior and you will be charged.
Personal data
Liverduck swimming Ltd. treats the security of you/your child’s personal data with the upmost importance. We will only Process you/your child’s personal data as necessary for the provision or administration of this service.
Photography / videography
Use of cameras or video (including mobile devices) is strictly prohibited at all times within the lesson venue unless permission has been granted.
